This is the personal blog of Nick Ilyin, a Bachelor of Science (in Computing Science) graduate from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Management candidate at the University of British Columbia. Nick lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and operates an IT consulting firm—Spidex Consulting Inc.—which he has been running since 1999, designing, developing, and consulting on many projects in the northwest. The primary focus of his company is to provide small- to medium-sized business with creative, user-friendly, and powerful business solutions.

To catch him in the act (of working), you can probably find him at a latte-art enabled coffee shop, such as Café Crema in West Vancouver. Otherwise, he can be found 2000 metres above sea-level, in Whistler, or biking/roller-blading/surfing/backpacking/fly-fishing somewhere in British Columbia.
